This year has been, and continues to be, an extended flu season (on top of everything else!) and experts recommend everyone in and with close contact with a susceptible population be vaccinated. Flu shots are still available, and some physicians recommend a booster if it has been more than 6 months since your last vaccine. If you received a flu shot early in the flu season last year, August of September, it could be a good idea to get another one this season to boost your immunity!
