The question is often asked, “Who should attend an Adult Day Center?” The answer is quite simple: “ANYONE who cannot safely be left alone to manage their time, medication, meals, and activities.” Simply put, “ANYONE who cannot function independently on their own” should attend Adult Day Health Care. The question could also be answered who is not appropriate for Adult Day Health Care?: A person who is violent or abusive to self or others, who has an infectious or contagious disease, who needs continual one-on-one assistance, or who cannot be transferred.
